- Women face barriers in accessing basic education and healthcare, and are often victims of violence and discrimination.

Sexual Orientation
- Refers to a person's emotional, romantic, and sexual attraction to persons of the same and/or different sex.
- An enduring pattern of romantic or sexual attraction to persons of the opposite sex or gender, the same sex or gender, to both sexes or more than one gender, or none.
Gender Identity
- A person's internal and individual experience of gender, which may be the same as or different from their birth-assigned sex.
- Fundamentally different from a person's sexual orientation.
- Includes a person's sense of being a woman, a man, both, neither, or anywhere along the gender spectrum.
