Rules and Regulations of Sepak Bola

Gameplay

• Played with 2 teams of 7 players each: 3 forwards, 2 halfbacks, and 2 goalkeepers
• Game duration: 2 halves of 15 minutes each
• Objective: to score points by hitting the ball with the feet, knees, chest, or head into the opponent's goal

Scoring

• A point is scored when the ball lands in the opponent's goal
• Points can be scored from anywhere on the court
• A game can end in a draw, but if the score is tied at the end of the two halves, the game goes into extra time

Fouls

• A foul is committed when a player breaks the rules of the game
• Types of fouls:
  • Contact fouls: physical contact with an opponent
  • Non-contact fouls: obstructing an opponent or playing the ball out of bounds
• Penalty: free kick or penalty kick, depending on the type of foul and location on the court

Restarts

• Game can be restarted with a kick-in, throw-in, or corner kick, depending on how the ball went out of bounds
• Kick-in: used to restart the game when the ball goes out of bounds over the sideline
• Throw-in: used to restart the game when the ball goes out of bounds over the end line
• Corner kick: used to restart the game when the ball goes out of bounds over the end line and was last touched by the defending team

Ball In and Out of Play

• Ball is out of play when it crosses the sideline or end line, or when the referee stops play
• Ball is in play when it is within the court boundaries and the game is not stopped by the referee
