Another aspect of Indonesian language development involves pronunciation standards. For instance, there was an attempt by Dr. Rochadi Rachmat to introduce the concept of vowel harmony in Indonesian, similar to how it exists in Hungarian. However, this proposal did not gain widespread acceptance.

Overall, the development of Indonesian has involved various linguistic influences and modifications over time, resulting in the complex and diverse language we see today. With its expanding number of speakers, it continues to evolve even further through cultural exchanges and interaction among people across the globe.
