SEBI Amendments
- In May 2024, SEBI amended the Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
- The amendment revised the method for calculating the market capitalization of listed companies.
- Instead of using a single day's market cap, SEBI now employs an 'Average Market Capitalization' over a defined period.
- The change affects ten provisions in the LODR Regulations.
- The change follows recommendations from a SEBI-appointed expert committee chaired by former whole-time member Santosh Kumar (SK) Mohanty, aimed at facilitating ease of business.
MoU between CSC and AIC
- CSC shall serve as a pivotal distribution channel, leveraging its vast digital network of 6 lakh Common Service Centres (CSCs) across rural India.
- The partnership will cover AIC's other Products like Saral Krishi Bima, Sampoorna Ritu Kavach, etc.
MoU between DAHD and UNDP
- On 20th May 2024, the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD) signed a MoU with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) India.
- The MoU aims to enhance the Digitalization of Vaccine Cold Chain Management, Capacity Building, and Communication Planning.
- UNDP will support India's first animal vaccine supply chain management system in partnership with the DAHD.
IndiaFirst Life Insurance
