SBI PO Exam Preparation

Exam Structure

• Data Analysis & Interpretation section: 30 questions, 50 marks, and 45 minutes duration.
• English Language section: 30 questions, 40 marks, and 35 minutes duration.
• General Awareness, Economy/Banking Awareness: 50 questions, 60 marks, and 45 minutes.
• The total marks for the objective tests are 200.
• The total duration is 3 hours.

Descriptive Test

• The Descriptive Test assesses English Language skills through Letter Writing & Essay.
• It is conducted after the Objective Tests.
• The test is worth 50 marks.
• The duration is 30 minutes.
• The Descriptive Test is evaluated only for candidates who qualify in the Objective Tests.

Phase III: Interview & Group Exercises

• Candidates who qualify in the Main Exam are called for Phase III.
• This phase includes an Interview and Group Exercises.
• The phase is worth 50 marks (Interview: 30, Group Exercises: 20).
• The Interview assesses personality, communication skills, and general awareness.
• The Group Exercises assess teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Final Selection

• Final selection relies on marks from the Main Exam (Objective + Descriptive) and Phase III (Interview & Group Exercises).
• Marks are converted to a total of 100.
