- Severe burnout was experienced in the early 2000's which significantly impacted health
- There was a brick walk moment which caused reflection and change
- The cost of moving up the career ladder outweighed the benefits
- Sacrifices were too much of working long hours, weekends, and extensive travel
- At the age of 35, being 100 lbs overweight and facing serious health issues led to the doctor advised to find something else to do or manage significant issues for the rest of their life
Healing Journey
- After being released two years, was released from the position
- A divine intervention opened the door to a total professional and personal life transformation
- Over a 7-year period, health was regained and a level of peace garnered
- Through journeying to take the best care of mind, body, spirit and soul, knowledge and tools were gained
Important reminder
- Moving up the career ladder is expected
- Working to the point of exhaustion is celebrated and worn like a badge of honor
- But, at what cost? No level of promotion is worth our health
- No amount of money, position or title can give back lost time with those we love
Definition of Burnout

- Occurs when feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands
Soul Level Work
- Requires going within to change without
- Included challenges with mother wounds, father wounds, abandonment wounds, neglect wounds, rejection wounds
- Without intentional healing they caused dysfunctional cycles in life
- Trauma and wounds experienced as a younger self birthed that inner drive to become Superwoman

- A lighter “yoke” in lives is a helpful way to find greater rest for our minds, bodies, spirits and souls
- Superwoman is a myth, she does not exist
- Instead: gifted, talented women who have achieved a great deal, I learned the hard way being “super” is just not God’s plan four lives.
