Rajasthan Public Service Commission

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) was established in 1949 after the formation of Rajasthan.
The RPSC currently has 10 members, including a Chairman.
The RPSC has its headquarters in Ajmer, Rajasthan, and a regional office in Jaipur.

Central Public Service Commission

A Central Public Service Commission (CPSC) setup was recommended by the Lee Commission in 1924. This occurred during the British rule in India, before the establishment of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which is the current equivalent in India.

Covenanting States of Rajasthan

Three covenanting states (Alwar, Bharatpur, and Dholpur) had functioning Public Service Commissions when Rajasthan was formed.
