Roles and Responsibilities of a Father

  • Father: A protector, teacher, and encourager. A person who picks you up when you fall, helps you brush off, and lets you try again. Often admired and loved, sometimes referred to as a son's first hero and daughter's first love. Responsibilities include motivating (being a coach, helper, and friend), enforcing, encouraging, training, and counseling.

  • Sibling: A relative that shares at least one parent. Can be a sister or brother. A person with no sibling is called an only child.
