Role of Hindi in Indian Education System

Hindi is one of the most widely spoken languages in India, with over 50% of Indians speaking it natively. It's also one of the official languages used by government agencies and many businesses across the country. In terms of its role in education, Hindi has been part of the school curriculum from the primary level since 1967-68. However, even these schools mostly teach other languages such as French, German, Spanish etc. in their own languages, so the dominance of Hindi isn't diminished significantly.

Overall, the education system uses Hindi extensively right from preschool until college, making it a crucial aspect of Indian culture and society.
