    Rizal’s Second Travel Abroad

    • Rizal left for Hong Kong on February 3, 1888, onboard the ship "Zafiro" and merely stayed on the ship during it's brief stop at Amoy.
    • Rizal resided at the Victoria Hotel in Hong Kong and explored Macao with his friend Jose Maria Basa for two days.

    • On February 22, 1888, Rizal left Hong Kong on board the "Oceanic" for Japan.
