  • May 9, 1882: Salvadora docked at Singapore, where Rizal registered and spent 2 days

Singapore

  • Rizal visited the Botanical Garden, Buddhist Temple, Siamese Prince's Garden, and different churches and temples
  • He saw the hanging bridge and statue of Saint Thomas, and learned about Stanford Raffles, the founder of Singapore
  • May 11, 1882: Rizal left Singapore for Europe on the French steamer Djemnah, a larger and cleaner vessel

Travels to Europe
