Respect: Right Evaluation Based on Self
- Purpose: Living with continuous happiness and prosperity. The other person also wants this. Purpose is the same (based on Natural Acceptance).
- Program: A program to live in harmony at all levels of being (personal, family, societal, natural). The other person has the same program.
- Potential: Desires, thoughts, and expectations are continuous. Natural Acceptance is in both the individual and other. Potential is the same.
Differentiation
-
Self-Reflection: Similarities exist at the level of Self, but daily living involves seeing others as similar or different.
-
Differentiation: This involves the body, age, gender, race, physical strength, and physical facilities like wealth and position.
-
Gross Misunderstanding: "Human Being = Body." The reality is "Human Being = Self & Body co-existence." Another misunderstanding is: "Physical Facility = Happiness." The correct relationship is: "Happiness = Harmony."
-
Differentiation = Disrespect: Not naturally acceptable, leading to opposition and movements.
Trust on Intention
- Trust: Understanding the other's intention to make one happy.
- Ability: One's ability to make oneself or others happy.
- Evaluation of Humans: Natural Acceptance (intention) is 100% in each human. Competence (ability to carry out intention) varies.
Mutual Fulfillment Relationship
- Trust: Acceptance of the relationship.
- Program: Evaluation of one’s and other’s competence, and a program based on the current competence. Keeping effort to learn and improve competence.
- Support: Support the other’s development in competence without irritation.
- Self-Exploration: Reflect on one's role in Nature, verifying this by Natural Acceptance, living according to their found role. Mutual happiness and prosperity are associated with interconnectedness.
Human Goal
- Harmony: Achieving right understanding, right feeling, prosperity, fearlessness, and co-existence in four areas: in every family, society, nature, and individuals. The questions to ask about this goal are: Are all four required? Would anything else be needed? Are we working towards these in families, society and nature? What is the sequence or priority for effort towards these goals?.
Understanding Human Needs
- Desirable States: Families in mutual fulfillment (same goals), Societies with similar goals, and separate people who cooperate or conflict (differing goals). This includes a battlefield.
- Gross Misunderstandings: Accumulation of wealth, power, or domination. Obsession with consumption. Pleasure. War, terrorism etc. A society whose goals include exploiting other beings and or nature.
Humanistic Tradition
- Paving the Way: The first step toward a humanistic life is to develop the understanding, commitment, and the relevant skills/knowledge to realize this life. A change in education towards more humanistic education is necessary.
- Humanistic aspects: These can include humanistic education, conduct, and universal human order, viewed as four aspects of a humane society.
