Region 3 Central Luzon
- Region 3, also known as Central Luzon, comprises the provinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, and Aurora
- Aurora was integrated into the region via Executive Order No. 103, issued by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo
- The capital region is the City of San Fernando in Pampanga
- The provinces and their capitals are: Aurora (Baler), Bataan (Balanga City), Bulacan (Malolos City), Nueva Ecija (Palayan City), Pampanga (City of San Fernando), Tarlac (Tarlac City), and Zambales (Iba)
- The climate consists of three types: a western part with a dry season from November to April and a wet season from May to October
- The climate consists of a central part with no specific seasons and an eastern part with scattered rainfall throughout the year
- Central Luzon is the widest plain in the Philippines
- There are 3 important rivers including Agno, Pampanga and Agnot
- These rivers ensure fertile soil suitable for agriculture
- The Ipo, Angat, and Pantabangan Dams were constructed to irrigate the vast agricultural lands

- Region 4A provinces and their capitals are: Cavite (Trece Martires City), Laguna (Santa Cruz), Batangas (Batangas City), Rizal (Antipolo City), and Quezon (Lucena City); the capital of Laguna is Calamba City
- CALABARZON experiences 3 types of climate with rainfall throughout the year
- CALABARZON, situated in Southern Luzon, is relatively mountainous with narrow plains
- Mountains include Mt. Makiling-Laguna, Mt. Banahaw-Quezon, Mt. Pico de Loro-Cavite, Mt. Maculot-Batangas and the Sierra Madre Mountain Range-Rizal and Quezon
- Taal Volcano-Batangas, and Taal Lake surrounds Taal
- Taal Volcano is known for the freshwater fish like tawilis and maliputo
- Laguna de Bay or Laguna Lake is the biggest lake
- San Pablo City in Laguna is named City of Seven Lakes because of these small lakes
- In order to trade and become more industrial, Pampanga is now more important
