Weather Downtime and Restart
- Area Supervisor calls to restart after weather downtime
- Cycle the ride once to restart
Fire and Fire Extinguisher Procedure
Using a Fire Extinguisher
- Pull the pin
- Aim at the base of the fire
- Squeeze the handle
- Spray in a sweeping motion
Fire Procedure
- Stop the ride
- Get all riders off the ride
- Call 911
Mulch Fire Procedure
- If smoldering, use water and stomp on it
- Call 911
Water Extinguisher Use
- Only use on wood/paper fires
- Use ABC extinguisher on other fires
Complete Power Failure Procedure
- E-Stop button will be pressed, and control power will be turned off
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical With"
- Dispatch operators to trains
- If a train is on the lift, the other side must cycle off
- After restarting, re-run Safety System Checks on the Opening Procedures Checklist
Low Air Warning Procedure
- Fault appears on the panel indicating low air in the system
- Cycle off the ride
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Mechanical Without"

- All brakes will close, and lifts will stop

PLC Fault Procedure

- Silence the alarm on the panel
- Attempt to continue operation

Restraint Complaint Procedure
- Cycle off the ride
- Keep the guest present to speak to a supervisor
- Park the train in question in the station
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Mechanical Without"
Restraint Fails to Lock Procedure
- Unlock and relock the seat again using the control panel
- If that does not work, allow other train to stack
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Mechanical With"
- Dispatch operators to trains
Restraint Fails to Unlock Procedure
- Try to unlock the seat using the control panel
- If that does not work, have an operator use the manual restraint release
- If the restraint unlocks, tie the seat off and call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 97 Mechanical"
- If the restraint still does not unlock, allow the other train to stack and call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Mechanical With"
- Dispatch operators to trains
All Restraints Fail to Lock Procedure
- Try to lock and unlock restraints again using the control panel
- If that does not work, attempt to lock the restraints using the manual restraint release
- If that works, cycle off and call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical/Mechanical Without"
- If that does not work, allow trains to stack
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical/Mechanical With"
- Dispatch operators to trains
All Restraints Fail to Unlock Procedure
- Ensure the train is properly parked in the station
- If the train needs pulled forward, do so and continue as normal if the restraints work
- Try to lock and unlock restraints again using the control panel
- If that does not work, have operators use the manual restraint release to open restraints
- Cycle the ride off, using the manual restraint release on all trains in the station if needed
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical/Mechanical Without"
Lift Stops Procedure
- Ensure the Block ahead is clear
- Attempt to restart the lift
- If that does not work, park the other train in the station if possible
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical/Mechanical With"
- Dispatch operators to trains
- The other side must cycle off
Train Stops and Will Not Move from the Emergency Brakes Procedure
- Ensure the Block ahead is clear

Train Will Not Dispatch from the Station Procedure
- Check the following:

- Dual is pressing their button
- E-stop is not pressed
- Lockout Switch is turned to "on"
- If the train will still not dispatch, allow other trains to stack and unload the train in the station
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical/Mechanical With"
- Dispatch operators to trains
Train Overshoots the Station Procedure
- If minor, use the manual restraint release to allow riders to unload
- Attempt to move the train and continue operation
- If the issue is major or operation cannot continue, call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical/Mechanical With"
- Dispatch operators to trains
Smoking Train Procedure
- Cycle the ride off
- Dispatch the smoking train and press the E-stop once it has left the station
- The train will stop in the brakes just outside the transfer track
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Mechanical Without reference a Smoking Train"
Train Blew Through the Station Procedure
- Do not hit the E-Stop or Lift Stop
- Wait until the train that blew the station is high on the lift
- If the other train blows the station, it will be stopped low on the lift
- Once all trains are stopped, press the E-Stop
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical/Mechanical With"
- Dispatch operators to trains
- The other side must cycle off
Loading Gates Will Not Open Procedure
- Cycle the ride off
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical/Mechanical Without"
Loading Gates Will Not Close Procedure
- Unload the train in the station and allow the other trains to stack
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical/Mechanical With"
- Dispatch operators to trains
Magnetic Gate Will Not Open Procedure
- If possible, utilize other gates
- If that is not possible, cycle off the ride using other gates
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical Without"
Magnetic Gate Will Not Close Procedure
- If it is safe to do, have an operator hold the gate shut
- If possible, cycle off
- If that is not possible, allow trains to stack and dispatch operators to trains
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Electrical/Mechanical With/Without"
Monitor Not Functioning Procedure
- If the monitor is flickering, but still usable, call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 97 Sound"
- If one of the monitors is completely out and not working, the other Control Operator can watch both cycles, call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 97 Sound"
- If the other side is closed, cycle off the ride, call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 Sound Without"
Guest Injury or Illness Procedure
- Call 911 on a park phone
- Tell the operator:
- Name
- What the situation is and if the guest is conscience
- Exact location
- Stop operation if needed or required
- Keep the guest as comfortable as possible until first aid has arrived, but do not move a guest if they seem to have a back or neck injury
- Offer the use of the buddy box as needed
- If the guest is on the ride:
- Unload other riders
- Keep injured or ill rider on the ride and seated until first aid arrives
- Offer buddy box, cup of water
- Call in 29 with reference first aid call
Guest in Danger Zone Procedure
- Stop operation immediately and press the emergency stop
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 with reference a Guest in a Danger Zone"
- Dispatch an operator to the area to retrieve the guest
- Dispatch operators to the trains
Rider has Loose Article Out After Repeated Warnings Procedure
- Stop the lift
- Call 5920 and say "Racer North/South is 29 with reference a 4-98"
- Dispatch an operator to the lift to retrieve the item
- Once the item is retrieved and the operator returns, resume operation
- Once the rider returns, have them wait in the exit for security
