Quantitative aptitude is a sub-topics of mathematics that is a function of mathematics. Percentage is a concept that is denoted by the symbol %. It is a function of mathematics that is important in many calculations. The concept of percentage can be divided into per-cent-age, which means 'per every hundred' . To find the percentage of a number, you can multiplying the fraction by 100. For example, if a student scores 20 out of 25, his score out of 100 is given by multiplying the fraction (20/25) by 100, which is 80% .
In the arithmetic section of quantitative aptitude, percentage has its application in almost all the topics, including Profit and loss, Mixture and Alligation, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Time and Work, Time, speed and distance . For example, if A is increased by x%, then a new number B is obtained. To obtain the number A again, we have to decrease the number B by (x/100+x)% .
