PSY10060: BRAIN AND BEHAVIOUR
- Module coordinator: Dr. Sarah Cooney
- Module lecturer: Dr. Sarah Cooney
- Lectures are held on Mondays at 1pm in the Clinton Auditorium and Wednesdays at 1pm in the Theatre M (except for week 8, which is Reading Week).
- No lecture on Monday, 4th November.
- Lectures are 50 minutes long.
- The module is worth 5 credits.
- The module is assessed by two quizzes: the first is worth 30% of the module grade and covers content from the first four weeks and required reading. The second is worth 40% and covers content from weeks 6-11. Both quizzes are multiple choice and short answer.
- The module schedule includes topics such as the brain, nervous system, sensation & perception, movement & action, cognition, sleep, disorders of the brain and behaviour.
- Core text: Brain & Behaviour: A Cognitive Neuroscience approach by Eagleman, D., & Downar, J. (2018). Available at the campus bookshop.
