    The Punjab School Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is an examination conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab.     PSTET Exam Pattern

    PSTET Eligibility Criteria

    To be eligible for PSTET, candidates must meet the following requirements:

    • Candidates must have completed their graduation from any recognized university with at least 50% marks. However, this requirement can be relaxed up to 5% if the candidate belongs to a backward class.
    • For candidates applying under the provisions of other backward classes (OBC), they need to obtain at least 45% marks instead of 50%.
    • For SC/ST category candidates, the minimum percentage required is 35%.
    • A relaxation of 5% in the qualifying percentage may be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories of Punjab State.
    • This relaxation will not be applicable to the reserved category candidates belonging to the States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha.
