Instructions for Candidates
- OMR Sheet: Candidates must enter their question booklet number (10 digits) on the OMR answer sheet.
- Answering: Candidates should answer in their own words as far as possible.
- Time Allotment: 15 minutes extra time for carefully reading the questions.
- Answering Questions: The questions are divided into two sections, Section A and Section B. Section A consists of 70 objective type questions, out of which 35 must be answered. Each question carries 1 mark. Section B has 20 short answer type questions, each carrying 2 marks, and 6 long answer type questions, each carrying 5 marks, of which 10 short and 3 long must be answered.
- Answering Format: Use a blue/black ballpoint pen to darken the circle against the appropriate option on the OMR answer sheet.
- Prohibited Items: Use of electronic appliances is strictly prohibited.
Section A - Objective Type Questions
- Question Numbering: Questions 1 to 70
- Options: Four options for each question
- Correct Answer: Only one correct answer
- Marking: 35 questions to be answered, each carrying one mark
- Answering: Answers must be marked on the OMR Sheet.
Section B - Short Answer Questions
- Question Numbering: Questions 1 to 20
- Instructions: Answer any 10 questions each carrying 2 marks
- Emphasis: Answer in short, concise answers.
Section B - Long Answer Questions
- Question Numbering: Questions 1 to 6
- Instructions: Answer any 3 questions each carrying 5 marks
- Emphasis: Provide longer and detailed explanations.
