Formation

• The present tense is formed differently depending on the subject:
  • I, you, we, they: base form of the verb
  • he, she, it: base form + -s/-es

Uses

• To describe habits, routines, and general truths:
  • I wake up at 7 am every day.

• To describe actions that are currently in progress:

Verb forms
