Creating New Presentations
- Three options to open a presentation: New, Open, and Recent
- New option allows creation of a Blank presentation, use of Templates and Themes, or creation from an existing presentation
- Blank presentation creates a new presentation using default settings for text and color, without content or design elements
- Templates and Themes create a new presentation based on pre-designed slide styles, without content
- New from existing uses the formatting of a previously created presentation

- Normal View features several commonly used Tabs, Panes, and Tools
- The Ribbon replaces the menu bar and groups items that are most likely to be used together
