Costume
- Men: Barong Tagalog and black or white pants.
- Women: Maria Clara or Balintawak costume.
Introduction
- Partners face the audience.
- Inside hands joined; girl holds skirt, boy's hand on waist.
- Tap right foot on each beat (16 measures).
- Transition to closed ballroom position for Figure 1.
Figure 1: The In and Out
- Four polka steps clockwise, returning to starting position (4 measures).
- Sideward point and close (2 measures).
