Political Culture Encompasses the prevailing moral values, beliefs and myths people live by and for which they are willing to die. It also includes the collective memory of a society; virtually anything and everything that shapes our shared perceptions of reality is part of our political culture. A political culture is like a filter for our personal experiences -- without it, we lack any common interpretation of reality The process of being conditioned to think and behave in a socially acceptable manner is called socialization Political Socialization the process whereby citizens develop the values, attitudes, beliefs, and opinions that enable them to support the political system.
