Retouching Tools
- Healing Brush Tool (J): Repairs damaged images by blending the repaired area with the surrounding image, matching texture, lighting, and shading. Useful for small scratches and wrinkles.
- Spot Healing Brush Tool (J): Quickly removes blemishes or unwanted spots without needing sample areas. Suitable for quick fixes.
- Patch Tool (J): Repairs selected areas by replacing pixels with pixels from another part of the image. Best for larger areas.
- Red-eye Tool (J): Removes red eyes caused by flash photography.
- Clone Stamp Tool (Option/Alt): Copies pixels from one part of an image to another, used for covering unwanted parts or creating effects.
- Pattern Stamp Tool: Allows selecting a pattern from the Options bar and painting it onto the image.
- Impressionist Mode (S): Creates a jittery effect from the pattern source.
- Eraser Tool (E): Erases pixels, removes unwanted parts, and creates a faded effect by lowering opacity.
- Background Eraser Tool (E): Removes background color, adjusts tolerance for color variation, available in two modes: Contiguous and Discontiguous.

- Magic Eraser Tool (E): Instantly removes areas with similar hues for quick background removal.
