National Certification

Communication with Patients and Customers

  • Communication occurs through a cycle involving at least two people exchanging information
  • The cycle includes:
    • Sender/Source: Individual sending the information
    • Message: The information being conveyed
    • Channel: How the message is delivered
    • Receiver: Individual who gets message

Sender

  • The Sender transmits a message using various channels.
