His work at Android expanded the platform's reach by offering vital tools like the Android Marketplace, user experience enhancements, and advertising offerings. Leveraging the knowledge acquired through working at Google, Pankaj made significant contributions towards transforming India into a digitally advanced country. As part of Niti Aayog under the Prime Minister's Office, Pankaj led several key assignments related to the National e-Governance Plan and established critical policies for the Indian telecom sector. Furthermore, Pankaj served as CEO of Policy Bazaar, one of Asia's largest insurance aggregators, during which time he oversaw its meteoric growth while championing financial inclusion efforts.

Investment in Tech Startups

Pankaj is an avid supporter of young tech entrepreneurs and ventures; therefore, it comes as no surprise that he actively participates in seed funding and investment rounds via Blume Ventures and Steadview Capital. Some notable startups backed by him include Razorpay, Unacademy, Meesho, Byju's, Swiggy, Udaan, Grab, and Zeta. These investments have helped shape some of India's most valuable and impactful technology companies today.
