Dravya

- There are five elements:
- Prithvi (earth)
- Jala (water)
- Teja (fire)
- Vayu (air)
- Akasha (space/ether)
- Each element has its unique properties and characteristics
Guna
- Guna refers to the qualities or attributes of a substance
- There are three primary Gunas:
- Sattva (pure, calm, and balanced)
- Rajas (active, passionate, and energetic)
- Tamas (dark, dull, and inert)
- Gunas are present in varying degrees in all substances and influence their behavior and interactions
Karma
- Karma refers to the actions or movements of substances
- There are five types of Karma:
- Utkshepa (ascending or rising)
- Avakshepa (descending or falling)
- Akunchana (contracting or shrinking)
- Prasarana (expanding or growing)
- Gamana (moving or flowing)
- Karma is responsible for changes and transformations in substances and their interactions
