    2024-25 Competitive Events Guidelines - Organizational Leadership

    • Event Administration: This event is taken online at the National Leadership Conference (NLC). No outside materials are permitted, but online calculators are provided. Competitors can flag questions for review before final results. Ties are broken by predetermined questions, then time taken to complete the test.

    • ADA: FBLA adheres to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) criteria. Accommodations must be submitted by specified deadlines.

    • Penalties: Competitors can lose points for violating the Code of Conduct or Honor Code, or for being late or in non-compliance with the Dress Code.

    • Electronic Devices: Unless pre-approved, all cell phones, smartwatches, and headphones must be turned off and put away before the start.

    • Leadership Concepts: Understand the importance and definition of leadership, self-assessment of potential, and leader characteristics (initiative, independence, follow-through, resilience, etc.).
