Knowledge Levels
- Category A, B1, B2 and C Aircraft Maintenance Licence
- Basic knowledge for categories A, B1 and B2 are indicated by knowledge levels (1, 2, or 3)
- Category C applicants must meet either B1 or B2 basic knowledge levels.
- Level 1: Applicant should be familiar with basic elements. Simple description using common words and examples. Typical terms.
- Level 2: General knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects. Ability to apply knowledge, general description, mathematical formulae, drawings, schematics. Practical procedures.
- Level 3: Detailed knowledge and capacity to combine knowledge for logical and comprehensive understanding. Theoretical fundamentals and relationships with other subjects. Detailed descriptions. Manufacturer's instructions and interpretations from various sources and measurements and application of corrective actions.
