- Employee Responsibility: Each employee must update their personal contact information in the staffing system.
Scheduling and Verification
- Verification Deadline: Employees must confirm their staffing schedule by 1700 each workday.
- Backfill Assignment: If a backfill is not confirmed or is refused by 1700, it will automatically be assigned to the employee.
Backfill Mechanics
- Backfill Process: Backfills are filled rank by rank, prioritizing those with the fewest backfill and overtime hours.
- Special Qualifications: The Staffing System differentiates employees with special qualifications using a distinct designation.
Backfill Corridor Periods
- Duration: Each backfill corridor period lasts three months.
- Start Dates: New corridors commence on January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.

- New Employee Credit: New hires are credited with backfill/overtime hours equal to the highest scheduled in their rank plus one hour.
- Advance Addition: New employees need to be added to the Staffing System at least 22 days prior to their start date.

- Promotion Effect: Employees who promote retain their previously worked backfill and overtime hours in the new role.
