- New students are encouraged to update notification preferences in Canvas.

- Google Chrome is the recommended browser for optimal performance in Canvas.
- Messages in Canvas can be checked through the inbox.
Accommodations and Rights
- Students should notify their instructor to arrange for accommodations; simply informing them does not guarantee accommodations.
- Respect for others' rights, opinions, and beliefs is a fundamental aspect of the Online Classroom Code of Conduct, including the following:
- Personal profile images must be appropriate to the learning environment.
- Students are required to do their own work unless group work is explicitly allowed.

- If a student is removed from a course due to absences, they can appeal by submitting the Absence Appeal Form.
Course Withdrawal and Expectations
- A student cannot withdraw from an individual course after the final exam week.
- Completing online coursework requires more than just a smartphone.

- Dishonesty such as cheating and plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
