Communication
- Nonverbal communication includes gestures, facial expressions, posture, body movement, voice tone, and volume, which are under less conscious control and provide a more accurate expression of one's inner thoughts and feelings.

Factors Affecting Communication
- Internal factors: liking others, empathy, and ability to listen.
- External factors: physical setting, ensuring privacy, refusing interruptions, physical environment, dress, note-taking, tape and video recording, and intimate zone (0-1.5 feet).
Health Assessment
