- Escort Conductors' Responsibilities Escort conductors need a valid reliability status.
- Correctional Manager/Operational Desk Responsibilities:
- Brief escorts on supervision levels and contact requirements.
- Ensure inmate searches (CD 566-7).
- Have authority to terminate escorts for safety/security reasons.
- Intervene if escorts fail to maintain contact.
- Attempt contact using institution-provided phone.
- Call destination to confirm arrival/departure.
- Inform Institutional Head of late calls/concerns for possible police reporting.
Family Contact Procedures
