Performance Evaluation Checklist (NCM 118)
- Course: Critical Care & Emergency Nursing Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- Rating System: Progress Acceptable (performance is usually effective and efficient) or Needs Improvement (performance is too slow to judge satisfactorily)
- Criteria: Team Leader, Bradycardia Management, VF/Pulseless V-tach Management, Asystole Management, Post Cardiac Arrest Care
Team Leader
- Ensure high quality CPR: Crucial at all times
- Assign team member roles: Clearly defined roles are essential
- Ensure team members perform well: Ensure all team members work effectively
Bradycardia Management
- Start oxygen if needed: Administer if necessary
- Place monitor in proper position: Correct placement for accurate monitoring
- Recognize symptomatic bradycardia: Identify symptoms of bradycardia
- Administer correct dose of atropine: Precise dosage according to protocols
- Prepare for second-line treatment: Procedures for subsequent treatment options
VF/Pulseless V-tach Management
