- The purpose of the National Building Code is to enforce uniform standards and requirements on building design, construction, use, occupancy, and maintenance to safeguard life, health, property, and public welfare.
Building Official
- The Building Official is responsible for the enforcement of the Building Code in their jurisdiction, with guidance from the Secretary of the DPWH.
- The duty of the Building Official is to inspect buildings, issue permits, and monitor compliance with the Building Code.
Fees and Guidelines
