OOMA Tiers
- OOMA consists of five tiers at the organizational level:
- Maintenance
- Material
- Flight
- Platform Software
- Configuration Management/Logs and Records (CM/Logs)
Reviewable Items in OOMA
- NMCS (Not Mission Capable Supply) and PMCS (Partial Mission Capable Supply) status
- Flyable discrepancies
- Non-aircraft related discrepancies
- ALSS (Aviation Life Support Systems) status
- SE (Support Equipment) status
- Mission Mounted Equipment (MME) status
Responsibilities of Maintenance Control
- Monitor aircraft/equipment current status
- Track incomplete maintenance actions and prioritize work center tasks
- Report on configuration, material readiness, and flight data
- Brief pilots and aircrew before Functional Check Flights (FCF)
- Ensure aircrew complete Maintenance Action Forms (MAFs) after flights
- Review and approve all work orders
- Assign priority levels for parts
Job Control Number (JCN)
- A JCN is a 9-character alphanumeric code that identifies a specific job

- Work Order Type (WO): A 2-character code describing the maintenance type
