Catalog Description
- Focus on practical editing skills including pacing, shot selection, and workflow for media delivery.
Course Objectives
- Develop proficiency with post-production software and equipment.
- Understand post-production workflow essentials.
- Introduction to color grading, compositing, sound design, and mixing.
- Gain creative experience in post-production.
Technical Requirements
- One portable hard drive (USB 3.0 recommended) for video editing; two drives advised for original media and editing.
- Headphones preferred to be over-ear type for lab work.
- Hard drives must be formatted to MAC OS Extended (journaled) to avoid issues with FAT32 formatting.
