Mindanao and the Monsters

Mindanao was initially submerged underwater; only mountains were visible.
Numerous villages thrived in the highlands until four monstrous creatures appeared.
Kurita: A multi-limbed creature residing partially in water and known for destroying life in its habitat.
Tarabusaw: An ugly, man-like monster living on Mt. Matutum, preying on people and ravaging the land.
Pah: A gigantic bird that overshadowed the sun and laid eggs the size of houses, causing widespread fear.
A four-headed bird with seven heads, dwelling on Mt. Gurayn, had the ability to see in all directions, compounding the terror.

King Indarapatra's Quest

Global distress arose from the devastation in Mindanao as news spread.
From a distant city known as the land of the golden sunset, King Indarapatra felt compassion and enlisted his brother, Sulayman, for help.
Indarapatra gifted Sulayman a ring and a sword for protection, and planted a sapling to signify Sulayman's fate during his journey.

Sulayman's Confrontation with Monsters

Sulayman traveled through the air back to Mindanao and witnessed the destruction.
First encounter: Defeated Kurita, the multi-limbed monster, by cutting it to pieces.
Battled Tarabusaw on Mt. Matutum where the struggle involved fierce resistance and ultimately resulted in Tarabusaw's defeat.
On Mt. Bita, Sulayman confronted Pah, cutting off its wing. Unfortunately, he was crushed by the falling wing.

Indarapatra's Grief and Recovery

Observing the sapling wither, Indarapatra realized Sulayman had died and mourned deeply.
Set out to avenge his brother, traveling to each mountain and recognizing Sulayman’s battles through the bones of defeated monsters.
Discovered Sulayman's bones alongside a small jar of heavenly water, resurrecting him and reuniting them joyfully.

Final Confrontation and Discovery

Indarapatra continued his quest and defeated the seven-headed bird on Mt. Gurayn.
Sought survivors and met an old woman who recounted the few remaining people's plight.
Found a hidden cave sheltering survivors, who expressed immense gratitude for Indarapatra's bravery.
The headman offered his daughter in marriage to Indarapatra, who recognized her as the beautiful woman he had seen earlier.
