Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)

The 8 MDGs

- Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases.

Goal 1: Eradicate Extreme Poverty
- Extreme poverty halved; however, 1 in 8 individuals still experiences hunger.
- Uganda achieved a 66% reduction in income poverty, exceeding the initial 50% target due to infrastructure investments.
Goal 3: Gender Equality
