Booking of Traffic on Warrants
- Only one warrant per station for booking through traffic, regardless of routes or railway agreements
- Charges calculated by Military Tariff rules where applicable, and public tariffs otherwise
Issue of Soldier's Tickets
- Soldier's tickets are issued in exchange for Form B (IAFT 1707) and Form C (IAFT 1707A) warrants
- Tickets are supplied in sets of three: record foil, guard's foil (for baggage/livestock), and passenger's foil
- Season tickets also issued
Examination of Warrants
- The Station Master must ensure warrant completeness (including officer signature and issuing office stamp)
- The travelling officer/person confirms accommodation details, including baggage weight (in IAFT 1707 forms)
