- Definition: Courtesy in the military is about recognizing authority and displaying respect for senior members within the military team.
- Most important form: The hand salute.
- Hand Salute:
- It's rendered by raising the right hand smartly, touching the tip of the forefinger to the front brim of the headgear when covered.
- Hand Salute rules:
- Required inside military installations during office hours.
