Image Editing in MS Word

• Shapes, images, icons, etc. are collectively called Illustrations.
• Gradient refers to the mix or blend of colors.
• Shapes can be enhanced with effects like Shadow, Reflection, etc.

Table Creation and Management

• Rows and columns together make a table.
• A table with 5 columns and 6 rows ideally has 30 cells.
• Predesigned tables are called templates.
• Deleting a cell shifts the other cells to the right by default.
• To create a table, click on the "Insert" tab and select "Table", then choose the number of rows and columns needed.

Image Editing

• To rotate an image, select the image and then click on "Rotate" option in the format tab.
• To resize an image, click on "Resize" option in the format tab and select the required size, or resize Diagonally to adjust the image size vertically and horizontally together equally.
• To crop an image, select the image and then click on "Crop" option in the format tab.
• To make a shape look better formatted, you can change its color, add a border, shadow, glow, or texture.

Cell Management

• To merge cells, select the cells that need to be merged, right-click on the selected cells, and choose "Merge Cells" option.
