• Members receive compensation equivalent to other regulatory board positions under the Commission's guidelines.

Licensure Examination Regulations

• Candidates must achieve a minimum average score of 70% and no score below 50% in any subject to pass the licensure exam.
• Applicants who do not pass after three attempts must wait one year before re-taking the exam.
• Successful candidates must take an oath of profession prior to practicing.

Board Functionality and Responsibilities

• The Board may amend examination subjects and passing criteria as necessary to keep up with technological advancements in the field of mechanical engineering.
• All records related to examinations and Board actions are maintained by the Commission, which also supervises the Board.

Qualifications for Examination Applicants

• Applicants must be Philippine citizens, not convicted of morally turpitudinous crimes, and hold a valid certificate of registration.
• They must demonstrate four years of active mechanical engineering practice post-registration and competence through endorsements from established professionals.
