Fractions
Fractions represent parts of a whole. They consist of two numbers separated by a line called a fraction bar. The number above the bar is called the numerator, while the number below it is the denominator. For example, in \(\frac{2}{5}\)

Multiplication

For example, multiplying (12 \times 5 = 60).
Division
Division is the reverse process of multiplication. It involves breaking down a larger quantity to find out how many smaller quantities it contains. When dividing whole numbers, we find common multiples using division facts. We perform long division to divide whole numbers by other whole numbers or fractions by other fractions. For example, \(\frac{39}{11} = 3 \frac{7}{11}\)
