- The Mathematical Reasoning Question Paper was administered on 11 March 2021
- Candidates were instructed not to open the question paper until told to do so
- A separate answer sheet was provided for the test
- Candidates were required to fill in their student application number, given name (s), and family name on both the answer sheet and the question paper
- The test contained 35 questions
- Each question had five possible answers, labelled A through E
- Candidates were instructed to choose the correct answer and record their choice on the separate answer sheet
- Erasing thoroughly was suggested for mistakes
- No marks were deducted for incorrect answers, encouraging candidates to attempt all questions
- The answer sheet needed to be completed within the 40-minute time limit
- No extra time would be provided
- The question paper could be used for working out, but no additional paper was allowed
