Number Rounding
- Rounding numbers involves approximating a value to the nearest place value
- To round a number to the nearest million, look at the hundred thousands digit, if it's less than 5, round down, if it 5 or greater, round up.
- To round a number to the nearest thousand, look at the hundreds digit, round up if it's 5 or greater, round down if it's less.
Place Value
- The place value of a digit determines the value it represents in a number

Number Writing
- Numbers can be written in standard form (using digits) or in words (word form).
