Introduction to TAXBASE
- TAXBASE is an accounting information system that stands for TAXATION & BOOKKEEPING AUTOMATION SYSTEM in EXCEL.
- It was developed by PAMAS (Panelo Accounting & Management Advisory Services) for their clients, but is now available to the public.
Features of TAXBASE
- Developed by a programmer who is also a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in public practice and academe.
- Designed to easily record data for bookkeeping and tax compliances based on the Philippine setting.
- Auto-recording of journal entries and posting while entering data in special journals.
- Auto-generating financial reports (A/R, A/P, Trial Balance, FS, etc.) per month, quarter or annual.
- Auto-generating BIR returns (as reference) for eBIRFORM or EFPS submission.
- Auto-generating esubmission files (SLSP, SAWT, QAP) and its corresponding dat files for validation.
- Designed with comprehensive system controls with the use of macro programming.
- EOPT (Ease of Paying Taxes Act - RA11976) - Ready.
System Requirements
- Windows 10 and above.
- Microsoft Office 2010 only.
Logging-In and Navigation
- For trial version, log-in with password 1234, which can be changed once the full version key is purchased.
- Default passwords for first-time users: LOG-IN Password - 1234, SYSTEM Password - 4321.
- Upon logging in, the system directs to the [PROFILE] sheet, where users can create a new company, create a new calendar year, load data from previous versions, change passwords, or change trial version to full version.
- To exit and start transactions, click the [HOME] sheet.
- In [HOME] sheet, users can navigate to all sheets and access all features of the system using shortcut buttons.
- Users can also navigate to specific sheets using tabs on the top.
