Mastering Literary Devices

Suspense is a feeling of excitement or anxiety while waiting for something to happen. It keeps readers engaged and curious, making the story more thrilling.

First person point of view is when the story is told from the perspective of one character using 'I' or 'we'. Second person point of view is when the reader is directly addressed using 'you'. Third person point of view is when the story is narrated by someone outside the story using 'he', 'she', or 'they'.

Foreshadowing is when the author gives hints or signs about future events in a story. It builds anticipation and suspense, and allows readers to make predictions about what might happen next.
