How to Use Bluetooth Devices with Your PC

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless technology used to reduce the use of wires.
Bluetooth is used for many types of devices, including computer mice and keyboards.
Using an external mouse and keyboard is recommended for extended periods of time over the laptop's built-in trackpad and keyboard.
Bluetooth adapters can be purchased to add functionality to your computer if it doesn't have Bluetooth included.
Pairing is the process of making sure that your Bluetooth device and your PC recognize each other.
Devices need to be set into pairing or discoverable mode to send out a "here I am" signal.
The pairing process is done through the Start button, selecting Devices, and choosing Bluetooth and Other Devices.
Once paired, the device will automatically connect to your PC when near.
If a passcode is required for pairing, it can be found in the device's instruction manual.
Unpairing can be done by selecting the device in Bluetooth Settings and choosing Remove Device.
