Magical Powers

• Magical powers are mysterious, supernatural abilities that can be categorized into offensive, defensive, and support skills in battle.
• A person's magical power can be measured as a numerical value by Balor's Magical Eye, along with Physical Strength and Willpower.
• These three factors, when added together, determine one's overall Power Level.

Origin of Magical Powers

• The source of an individual's power is drawn from one's will, beliefs, and experiences.
• Holy Knights believe their bodies are imbued with "magic that transcends human knowledge."
• Some people are born with Magical Power, while others can awaken it later in life through various causes.
• Magical Powers can also be gained and utilized from other sources of power by research and experimentation, inherited, or taught to others.

Development of Magical Powers

• Magical powers grow and evolve with time and training.
• Magic families fall into two categories: those that "power up" becoming more powerful and those that "transform" in stepwise fashion, changing their own nature.

Types of Magical Powers

• There are nine categories of Magical Powers, known as "Types" 「型, Kata」.

• Very rare instances of a person possessing two or more types of magic are known as Hero-Types.

• The nine categories are:

  Destruction-Type

  • Allows the user to exert magical power with destructive properties, such as natural forces like thunder or flame, or an unnatural dark force.

  Shifting-Type

  • Allows the user to modify the properties of matter, such as modifying an object's weight, hardness, or turning water into ice.

  Healing-Type

  • Allows the user to heal injuries and ailments of themselves or others, with diverse effects and scope.

  Search-Type

  • Allows the user to locate a particular object or find out how genuine a person is, with different forces identified.

  Mental-Type

  • Allows the user to manipulate a person's mind and their memories, with the potential to be even more powerful than the Destruction-Type.

  Deception-Type

  • A magic power that generates illusions or causes auditory hallucinations, mostly found in the Fairy Clan.

  Stealth-Type

  • Allows the user to approach their opponent without being noticed or track the opponent's movements from far away.

  Enchantment-Type

  • Allows the user to imbue things with magic (e.g., their fists or weapons) to strengthen them and/or give them the properties of said magic.

  Oracle-Type

  • A force surpassing the human intellect, that predicts the weather or future events, regarded as the rarest of all magic.

  Hero-Type

  • An extremely rare type of power, where those who possess four or more different types of magic fall into this category, with Percival being the only known example.
