能の起源
- 能はサンガク（散楽）とガガク（雅楽）の融合によって生まれた
- サンガクは「散らばった音楽」と呼ばれ、平安時代に人気を博した
- サンガクはジャグリング、acrobatism、ロープダンシングなどを含む「バラエティ・アーツ」
サンガクの系譜
- デンガクは高麗から輸入された、農村の踊りと歌謡で構成された
- サルガクは多くの異なる芸術形式を含む
- デンガクとサルガクが能劇の基礎を築いた
能の発達
- カナミ・キヨツグ和ゼアミ・モトキヨが能の芸術を完成させた
